And when we are hungry we are more likely to cheat on our diet and, let's face it, we are just more miserable. Eating fruits and vegetables will fill up your stomach without all the calories. The best types to eat with your meals are carrots, spinach, tomatoes, berries and apples. Avoid deep fried vegetables like french fries because they are loaded with calories. If you feel hungry after your meal go for a second helping of fruits or vegetables. The fibre and water in these foods will help fill you up without adding unnecessary calories to your waistline.
