We all know the important of getting enough vitamins in our diet, but a lot of us overlook the importance of minerals. Minerals are found naturally in non-living things such as soil, rocks and water, and are also found in plants and animals. They play a large role in the development and strengthening of our bones, teeth, blood, skin and hair, and are needed for our bodies to function properly.
